These 2 video shows were put together by Hansen-Spear in Quincy, IL. Our family members sent them photos, or dropped them by the funeral home, and we picked music that my mom liked. Then their staff had the hard task of creating these memorable pieces.

These photo shows were played at the services for my mom, Pat Surface, on Saturday, January 7, 2012, 11:00 am, at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, in Quincy, IL. For the most part, I myself, did not see much of this show, for all the obvious reasons. Today I watched them both, with the volume turned down, as I am still not strong enough to watch AND listen. Music is a HUGE part of my life, and I am VERY emotional about it, on a GOOD day. Someday I will be stronger and attempt this again.

  1. I consulted with Pat to help her edit the super 8 movies she had converted to video for the family to enjoy later. The last contact I had with her was I sent her instructions on how to better use Adobe Premier to edit her videos. Before you close out her email, you may want to print or save those instructions. She so much wanted to finish her project and I hope she was able to do what you all would enjoy. Hopefully she was able to get them into a usable format.

    I will miss dropping by and working with her.

    Good health has to be worked at; so it is said.

    Went to a will, trust, and guardian seminar last night put on by a local attorney. Lots of info; complex issue.
