Chicago Fire @ Montrose Harbor
Posted in: Chicago,Illinois,Montrose Harbor,Photos,thepointandshootist.com by #1 on July 01, 2009
Sunset Photos with a boat on fire just there . . . beyond the duck!
From what I saw this boater was not only the man who made "THE CALL" but first on the scene!
This is the Chicago Police Officer who was the first responder on the scene & because he somehow got out there onto that boat & got started on putting out that fire, I believe this fellow deserves MUCH credit!
Here you can see that CHICAGO POLICE OFFICER working very, very hard to gain control of the situation! Right on!

By now the CHICAGO FIRE DEPARTMENT was on scene and you can see them on that boat working with the Chicago Police Officer – all of them courageously toiling away on what could have been a real bad scene. I was impressed and GRATEFUL!
