LaShonda “Shady” Lungalow
Posted in: thepointandshootist.com by #1 on April 03, 2009
Born in 1980, LaShonda is a 28 year old Mother who started singing at the early age of five. The 5 year old singing sensation started out singing in her family church, blossomed quite early and made a huge impression on the people around her.
LaShonda started singing with a gospel group called “The King’s Jewels”. With her mother, Mattie Lungalow, Aunt Janie, Rose, her cousin Tutu & her sure favorite of all of them was Peaches. LaShonda dearly loved her SISTER Peaches. They in turn, traveled all around the United States singing the praises of God. During this time she worked with a myriad of artists. One of the vocalists LaShonda worked with was Metrone. Also Love Each Other For Life, Johnell Jones, Cross, The Williams Brothers and many more.
After many years of singing and working with such diverse artists, LaShonda found herself comfortably singing R & B. The C.E.O. of 3D Productions, Sam Dubose, helped to raise and shape LaShonda into the type of singer that she is today. Also, an RCA recording artist, Rico Scott, a cousin of LaShonda’s, helped to shape the vocalist & teach her control.
After meeting bass player extraordinaire Greg Durham, LaShonda was introduced to the band Secret Spirit & has been on her way to stardom ever since. Remember that name because LaShonda is going far in this industry.
